Our ballast shot (technical ballast, industrial ballast, loose ballast, ballast pellets, steel shot ballast) is currently the most cost-effective alternative to lead, which is many times more expensive and toxic.
Cast-steel / cast-iron ballast shot is completely non-toxic, approved for direct contact, and does not require any disposal protocol when a unit is scrapped. With a density of approximately 7.4 kg/dm³ and a specific weight only about 30% lower than that of lead, it is increasingly replacing lead on the market.
We supply our ballast to shipyards and numerous Polish yacht yards. It is used by manufacturers of rail vehicles and by the automotive industry. Several leading manufacturers of lifting equipment also successfully use our ballast in their designs (in such cases, strict requirements of the Office of Technical Inspection apply).
The shot is poured into ballast tanks in loose form or placed in special loosely filled bags that tightly fill the ballasted space. Where the ballast is exposed to weather conditions, it is formed into blocks encapsulated in resin.

Nasz śrut balastowy (balast techniczny, balast przemysłowy, balast sypki, kulka balastowa, gradowina, balast stalowy) jest w obecnej chwili najtańszą alternatywą dla wielokrotnie droższego i toksycznego ołowiu.
Staliwno-żeliwny śrut balastowy jest zupełnie nietoksyczny, dopuszczony do kontaktu bezpośredniego i nie wymaga protokołu utylizacji w razie złomowania jednostki. Przy gęstości ok. 7,4 kg/dm³ i ciężarze właściwym niższym jedynie ok. 30% od ołowiu, coraz skuteczniej wypiera go z rynku.

Price Check
Before you decide to make a purchase, carefully review several sales offers to understand the average cost of your chosen equipment. Do not buy products which price is too different from the average price for similar equipment.
Do not give consent to dubious pledges and prepaid goods. In case of doubt, do not be afraid to clarify details, ask for additional photographs and documents for equipment, check the authenticity of documents, ask questions.
Doubtful prepayment
The most common type of fraud. Unfair sellers may request a certain amount of advance payment to “book” your right to purchase equipment. Thus, fraudsters can collect a large amount and disappear, no longer get in touch.
Varieties of this fraud may include:
- Transfer of prepayment to the card
- Do not make an advance payment without paperwork confirming the process of transferring money, if during the communication the seller is in doubt.
- Transfer to the “Trustee” account
- Such a request should be alarming, most likely you are communicating with a fraudster.
- Transfer to a company account with a similar name
- Be careful, fraudsters may disguise themselves as well-known companies, making minor changes to the name. Do not transfer funds if the company name is in doubt.
- Substitution of own details in the invoice of a real company
- Before making a transfer, make sure that the specified details are correct, and whether they relate to the specified company.
