I purchased my case brand new in 2018 and it now has 500 hours on it. Buyers should be cautious!! So, why be cautious? It boasts best in class low flow gpm on the hydraulics but the engineerings failed to put an adequate hydraulic cooler in the unit so if you plan on running a mower or something else that requires a lot of flow in the summer it will start overheating after 30min to an hour if it’s above 85… so no mowing June-sept unless you get out in the early morning or only do short time periods. #2 check the ac lines to see if they have been updated because the original line fails and it’s a $500 fix to update because case doesn’t take responsibility for their bad designs. #3 if you plan on doing bucket work on hot 90+ degree days the top pins on the loader arms are weak and fail regularly.. tell me a loader pin that is rated to pick up 3000+ lbs that is not greaseable…. Well case doesn’t…. The top tilt cyclinder runs dry…. Guess what if you work it on a hot day for a few hours it will fail…. Fun added bonus when they break the tilt cyclinder busts out your glass! Very poor design so if you are looking for a used skid steer stay away! If you are looking at new just know that case doesn’t stand behind their problems!
